Odyssee Aus can organize and deliver courses regarding the industrial side of Submarines. We propose a list of topics, our clients remaining free to pick those they want to include in their training program.

The list of topics we are specialized in is as follows :

  • design philosophies,

  • naval architecture,

  • systems engineering,

  • engineering design,

  • industrialisation,

  • Indigenous built program from overseas design and Transfer of Technology,

  • production,

  • facilities for submarine build and maintenance,

  • Integrated Product Development Environment.

USING MODERN TOOLS

More and more new technologies are put on the market. Previous softwares, certainly relevant in the past, become now out of date.  For us, it was out of question that students practice with old tools that they won’t use after their studies as new ones are replacing them. Moreover, working with the right tools help students working effectively. That is why Odyssee AUS experts decided to invest in the practice of modern and relevant tools as Paramarine from QinetiQ.

OUR COLLABORATIONS WITH UNIVERSITY

We are currently working with the University of Adelaide to create, organise and coordinate the Australian part of the new Franco-Australian Masters of Marine Engineering (University of Adelaide / ENSTA Bretagne). We are also working collaboratively with companies that are providing us with their best experts to create and teach the new material of the course content.

The aim of such a program is to give students the possibility to access and follow a complete and thorough training thanks to high quality content provided by experienced professionals with the appropriate tools, representative of the industry best practice. In addition to having their degree easily recognised in both countries, the students will benefit from an international experience, reinforcing and diversifying their knowledge and therefore, their employability.

Very proud to present our French and Australian students currently engaged in the Dual Masters Degree ENSTA Bretagne/ University of Adelaide in Submarine Engineering to Mr Jean-Michel BLANQUER, French Minister for Education, Hervé GUILLOU, CEO of Naval Group France, and Admiral Christophe Prazuck, Chief of French Navy,  during EURONAVAL 2018 in PARIS, France.
